The result is an impact on the author that foments his own personal crisis in adulthood. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: E. Brooks Andrews is a public figure, author, key note speaker and educator. He has also appeared in film interviews and is featured in Nitto Tire documentary film “Act of Faith: The Emery Andrews Story”. Rev. E. Brooks Andrews is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University and Western Seminary, Portland, Oregon. He served for fifteen years at community Christian fellowship in Edmonds, Washington as the pastor of congregational care. Rev. Andrews retired from his position at the community church in December of 2003. Subsequent to his retiring, "Brooks", as he prefers to be called, and his wife Corean, returned to the Japanese Baptist Church in Seattle where he was the interim Senior Pastor for two years. He actively participates in the Minidoka pilgrimages as well as speaking to public schools of his family’s ministry to the Japanese community, especially during the incarceration of the Issei and Nisei at Minidoka during WWII. Brooks Andrews is a former board member for the “Friends of Minidoka.” E. Brooks is the son of the Rev. Emery “Andy” Andrews who served as the English pastor at the Japanese Baptist church from 1929 to 1955. Brooks and his wife, Corean, enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest in a small beach home in Washington State. E. Brooks Andrews is an author, speaker and educator.
